The system features HDMI 2.1 outputs, which support full 4K resolution, delivering stunning visuals for your movies, videos, and games. Additionally, it offers 7.1 digital audio output for a rich and immersive sound experience. To fully utilise this feature, you will need a capable AV Receiver to connect your speakers. Moreover, the UltraNUC Pro 13 provides two Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports. These ports not only offer faster data transfer speeds but also enable the option of connecting two additional DisplayPort monitors. This expands your display setup, allowing for multitasking or creating a more immersive workstation.

Extensive Connectivity

For such a small chassis, you’d expect to see some lack of connectivity or compromises due to its size. In fact the Intel NUCs have an extensive range of ports available. Take a look at the image below to see which ports are available.

Rear ports - Both versions of the NUC 13 have identical ports on the rear of the chassis. They all feature two HDMI 2.1 ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB Type-C, also compatible with DisplayPort 1.4), 2.5Gb LAN port and two USB ports (one USB 3.2 and one USB 2.0).

It is also worth mentioning that the only difference between the two sizes is that the smaller (slim) NUC accommodates just a single M.2 drive, while the larger (tall) version is capable of housing a M.2 and a 2.5” drive.

Up to 12-core Processing Power

Intel’s Core processors are renowned for being the “go-to” CPU for virtually any personal computer. The processors in the NUCs are Intel’s 13th gen mobile processors that deliver leadership in performance architecture. Performance cores or [“]P-cores[“] maximise single-thread performance and responsiveness, while efficient cores or [“]E-cores[“] deliver scalable, multi-threaded performance and efficient offload of background tasks for modern multi-tasking. Intel Thread Director works seamlessly with the operation system to intelligently optimise performance, placing the right task on the right core at the right time.

The UltraNUC can be configured with a choice of the Core i3-1315U, i5-1340P or the Core i7-1360P. As you can see from the table below all CPUs offer different clock speeds. They also all feature “Turbo Frequency” allowing them to provide that extra performance when required.

The Core i7 and i5 NUCs features Intel’s latest Iris Xe Graphics that delivers transformational GPU and integrated graphics to support richer gaming experiences and greater speed for designers and creators. The Core i3 version offers Intel UHD Graphics.

You can easily travel with the NUC and simply connect it to an LCD TV at the place you’re travelling to - a remote office, hotel room or friend’s house. Free hardware support and fully inclusive warranty

We offer free hardware technical support for as long as you own the machine. This support covers any hardware query or problem, including advice on maintenance and upgrades. We regret we can’t offer software support or training so we would recommend contacting the software vendor in this instance.

Our hardware warranty runs for at least two years and is “collect and return” meaning that you don’t need to worry about getting the machine back to us - we will instruct our courier to collect it from you on a day of your choosing, then after we have checked and repaired it we will send it back to you by express courier at our expense. In addition, unlike many other PC suppliers, we have an “open-case” policy which means you are free to open the machine and perform your own minor modifications or upgrades without worrying that your warranty might be affected.
